We set the NAVIGON MobileNavigator to the test and here is what we have found. This review follows our first look at the App a few weeks ago. Mobile Navigator is a competent turn-by-turn GPS solution that some things are not very good, some not so good. Note that this review of version 1.0, and late at night NAVIGON released version 1.1. I have not studied this update yet, but from the description it does not seem to affect this report. Specifically, version 1.1 does not add text to speech.I'll do a follow-up when this feature is added. Tanglife: Here is a review of the update to version 2.2 on a 3G iPhone, which has the GPS hardware. No tricks here, just some great Apple software. This update contains many bug fixes and improvements, including the following: • improve Google Maps - Google Street View - public transport and walk towards - Display address pins - Share place via e-mail • Mail Extensions - insulated resolved as part of scheduled pick-deleted e-mail - Improved formatting of HTML e-mail • wideImproved stability and performance of Safari • Podcasts are now available for download from the iTunes application (via Wi-Fi and cellular network) • decrease in call set-up errors and call drops • Improved sound quality of the visual voicemail messages • By pressing the "Home" all the home screen takes you to the first home screen • preference for on / off auto-correction settings in Keyboard Firmware Update 2.2 Apple 3G iPhone tanglife.com again
